Our Story

2003

2003

Founded officially in 2003 but in existence since 2001, Dracolite first focused on the creation and manufacture of medieval-inspired jewelry.

The success was immediate: soon we found their creations in fifty points of sale around the world.

From a small workshop, the transition was quickly made to a workshop-shop to meet the ever-growing demand. Local artisan products were added to enhance the offer and the customer experience.

Since 2005, a leather workshop has been added to jewelry and accessories. The first clothes creations also appear during this period.

2007

2007

In 2007, Dracolite acquired a 6,000-square-foot building on 2 floors located on Montreal’s legendary St-Hubert plaza. A transformation was about to take place. Dracolite gradually abandoned distribution to focus on its flagship store.

In 2008, the acquisition of Epopée was a turning point for Dracolite, allowing him to locally produce his own clothing collections.

Thirteen years later, Dracolite has become a real reference in the field. Continuing its mission to promote our local artisans, the company now exports its medieval creations and products to many countries.

In the Salon de la Noblesse, located on the second floor of the boutique, designer Véronique Lortie and her team of designers welcome future brides.

2017

In January 2017, our designer opens his own business, the Couture House signed Véronique Lortie. Located literally at the door next door, customers can now visit designers at any time for tailor-made projects or simply discover new creations.

Wanting to use the space of the former Salon de la Noblesse, Dracolite builds a new extension to the shop, L’Échoppe des Aventuriers, a space dedicated to the Grandeur Nature wanting to be a stop on the road to any adventures.

2021

In May 2021, the Dracolite family grew by opening the doors of a second store, now affecting the Lanaudière region, located in Vieux-Terrebonne. As demand grows, we are pushing the discovery of medieval into new regions.

A little hidden corner close to the historic places of the Île des Moulins, this shop helps to take a step back in time. With a warm atmosphere, the Terrebonne team is ready to welcome you with open arms.

Two other brands were added to the Dracolite family: Atelier Pirate (a recognized actor in the field) and, more recently, Mythic Workshop, which specializes in life-size products. From 2013 to 2018, Dracolite organized the Lanaudière Medievals, a major event with, at its peak, an influx of 5,000 visitors.

A true reference in the world’s historic and fantastic medieval world, Dracolite continues to innovate in order to offer quality products, exceptional service and a unique experience.
